Description of the event

The Florida International Medical Expo (FIME) is the largest medical trade fair across the Americas.

In its 30th edition, FIME will take place at the Miami Beach Convention Center, Miami Beach, from June 23-25, 2020.

The exhibition will welcome over 24,000 medical and healthcare trade professionals from North, Central and South America, as well as from across the globe, to do business with 1,200 national and international companies showcasing new and refurbished medical and hospital equipment, technology, products and supplies.

Alongside the exhibition, FIME 2024 will also introduce:

1.THE LABORATORY ZONE

FIME 2020 hosts a dedicated laboratory zone titled MEDLAB Americas, part of the MEDLAB Series portfolio which is a proven successful exhibition and conference model on an international scale.

Offering over 163 lab product categories within the expo, MEDLAB Americas will help to bridge the gap between the healthcare industry and the laboratory industry.

With annual growth projected at 0.9%, the demand for an annual networking opportunity that covers all areas of medical laboratories is high. Introducing MEDLAB Americas - with year-on-year growth within the MEDLAB portfolio, from the Middle East, to Asia and Africa, the MEDLAB exhibition has proven success on an international scale.

2.DEALER & DISTRIBUTOR WALL

A dedicated wall at the exhibition, and now an online digital platform, offering dealers / distributors / agents the opportunity to publicise the products and services they are seeking, with their contact info.

Exhibitors have direct access to the information and contact details on the Dealers & Distributor wall and can get in touch directly to arrange a meeting during the show.

3.EDUCATION

Demonstrating Informa Life Sciences’ philosophy of 'Exhibition with Education', FIME introduces four accredited conferences and trade seminar, which aim to support clinicians in making their day-to-day roles more time and cost effective, whilst ensuring a high level of patient care is maintained.

Conference topics this year will focus on infection control, digital healthcare and hospital supply chain and procurement, whilst the trade seminar will discuss investment opportunities in North America, as well as provide market insights, trade prospects and regulatory affairs for market entry to the USA, Latin America, China, Asia, APAC and Europe.
