Founded in 1993, BIO International Convention (BIO) is the annual meeting of the U.S.-based Global Biotechnology Innovation Organization (GBIO); the world's largest, most professional, and most influential biotechnology event, representing the entire biotechnology ecosystem.BIO is designed to help grow the global biotechnology industry. By supporting biotechnology programs and initiatives, profits from the BIO International Congress are returned to the biotechnology industry. 20,000 industry leaders from around the world attend the show in 2024.
